INGLEMOOR TOPS WOODINVILLE 12-4

The Vikings of Inglemoor visited Northshore rival & 6th ranked Woodinville tonight & when the lights went off the Vikings earned an important KingCo 4A victory.  Junior Spencer Trautmann got the start on the hill and was again impressive over 4 innings of work.  After striking out the side to open the game, Trautmann finished with 1 run on 2 hits while striking out 4 Falcons enroute to the Win.

The Vikings gave Trautmann support early scoring in each of the 1st three innings.  Logan Moen battled a 10 pitch BB to score Marc Dickerson with the first tally. Obadiah Taylor followed with a stinging 2 out single to right to plate Sammy Johnston & Scott Meyers and the Vikes led after 1 inning 3-0. Sam Johnston banged his 2nd Home Run of the year in the 2nd and then Ethan Yeo scored in the 3rd after hitting a double.

Inglemoor scored two more in the 5th on a 2-out single by Erick Raynes knocking in Yeo and Meyers again. In the 6th the Vikings tallied 6 more runs scattering in hits among Falcons Walks. RBI singles by AJ Babauta and Logan Moen along with a 2 RBI double by Meyers put the game away.

Austin Heuter relieved Trautmann to pitch the 5th followed by Trevor McMaster who finished the game pitching the 6th & 7th.  McMaster allowed just 2 hits while striking out 3 in an impressive return to the mound. Inglemoor moves to 1-2 in the Crown Division and plays Roosevelt on Wednesday 7 PM at Valhalla.
