Vikings Knock Off Juanita

Inglemoor hosted next door neighbor Juanita in a non league game this afternoon. Formerly a member of the KingCo 4A who now competes in the KingCo 3A division, the Juanita rivalry is still pretty solid. Inglemoor got to the Rebel starter for 2 runs in the 1st when Conor Savage knocked in Marc Dickerson with a double and then scored himself on Ethan Yeo's Sac Fly.  Inglemoor starting pitcher Dustin Doucette was solid again today allowing just 1 hit through 3 innings. In the 4th Viking miscues and a couple walks led to 2 Rebel runs to tie the score. But the Viks errupted in the bottom half of the inning scoring 8 runs on 6 hits. The big blows were Garrett Vandivers 2 RBI single and Yeo's bases loaded double to plate Dickerson, Savage and Mitchell Gunsolus. Scott Meyers had a pair of base hits on the day as did Savage.  Junior Emmett Maki then pitched the final 3 innings allowing just 1 hit and no Rebel to second base. Viking sophomore Lucas Wimmer earned his first Varsity win in relief.   The 11-2 win is Inglemoor's 9th in a row.
