Vikings Down Bulldogs 6-2

Game #19 found Inglemoor travelling to Garfiedl HS to take on the Bulldogs.  The 1st inning was uneventful but Garfield turned a couple hits and a couple wakls into 2 runs in the bottom of the 2nd. The Viks responded with 1 run in the 3rd when a Mitchell Gunsolus single plated Jake Sleder who had walked earlier. Lucas Wimmer relieved Alex Morrow and threw 2-plus scoreless innings before Dustin Doucette relieved him from a bases loaded problem in the 5th. Doucette threw 6 pitches striking out 1 and gettng a nubber to 1st to end the Garfield threat.  Inglemoor scored 4 runs with the help of Base on Balls and ground balls and took the lead 5-2. In the top of the 7th Inglemoor scored 1 more time when a Gunsolus bomb scored Tyler Beahan from 1st for his 4 triple of the year.  Willie Augustavo came in and worked the 7th inning striking out one to end the game in favor of the Vikings. Brandon Edwards had a pair of hits and Adam Mosebar hit a double for Inglemoor who moves to 12-7 with one game remaining vs Roosevelt on Monday night at Valhalla.
