Inglemoor Stops Redmond The Crest Division leader and reigning KingCo Champion Redmond joined the Vikings at Valhalla Tuesday evening. The Mustangs were 9-0 in league play and ranked #2 in the latest State poll. Inglemoor was up for the challenge having begun to find their way, winners of their last three. It was dueling Ace's tonight. Redmond started hard throwing Dylan Davis & Inglemoor countered with Dustin Doucette. Tonight it was Deuce & the Vikings who would prevail with a 7-1 victory. In the top of the 1st Redmond scored a run when the Stangs big 1st baseman doubled to plate the lead off hitter. That would be all the scoring they could muster though as Deuce struck out the next three Mustangs. Inglemoor responded in the bottom of the 1st after lead off hitter Connor Savage won a tremendous battle with Davis resulting in a single. Quality team at bats by Blake Wilson and Mitchell Gunsolus scored Savage to tie the game early. The Vikings then ignited in the 2nd with the big blow coming from Adam Mosebar who tripled scoring Emmett Maki & Alex Morrow. Mitchell Gunsolus ended the Viking scoring in the inning with an RBI double. In the 6th Inglemoor tagged on an insurance run with Connor Savage scoring his 3rd run of the night again via a Gunsolus base hit. Deuce proved to be the top dog in the fight tonight as he battled the Mustang line up throughout the game. In a tense 6th he struck out a pair to end a bases loaded threat then finished the 7th in order for his 1st CG of the year striking out 13 on the evening. The victory puts the Viks into a tie for 2nd in the Crown with Woodinville who visits Valhalla Thursday night. NICE WIN VIKS !
