Vikings Victorious Inglemoor hosted the Roosevelt Rough Riders on Senior Night & the final regular season game of the year. The Vikings scored early when Tyler Beahan doubled, then advanced on two wild pitches to score the games 1st run. In the 2nd the Vikings plated two more. Brandon Edwards singled then ended up taking 3rd on a pitch in the dirt. The throw ended up rolling into short left and Edwards beat the race to the plate to put Inglemoor up 2-0. Danny Larson followed suit and scored shortly after Edwards with aggressive base running. Viking starter Dustin Doucette threw 3 shut out innings collecting 5 K's on the evening. Alex Morrow relieved and threw the 4th & 5th allowing 1 run in striking out two. Sean Howard made his appearance in the 6th and threw well against left handed part of the line up striking out two to put another 0 on the scoreboard. Connor Savage doubled to start the 5th and quickly scored a BIG insurance run from 3rd on a Beahan Sac-Fly. However, the Rough Riders weren't done. In the 7th they rallied for 3 runs. After a walk and a single pitcher Lucas Wimmer got two quick outs but 3 consecutive singles by Roosevelt tied the game. In the bottom of the 7th the Vikings responded. A quality at-bat by lead off Danny Larson resulted in a base on balls. Connor Savage got on a s well and the Teddies loaded the bases with an Intentional Walk to Mitchell Gunsolus. Obi Taylor, battling all night at the plate, delivered a 2 out 1-1 pitch into left center to knock in the GWRBI. Inlgemoor, the winner of 7 of its last 9 move to 13-7 on the season. They will play their first round of the KingCo playoffs at 10 AM this Saturday at Woodinville HS against either Redmond or Newport. Seniors Say Goodbye to Valhalla
