JV Beats Bothell 5-2 The Vikings visited Bothell this afternoon and rode the arm of Willie Augustavo who threw 5 scoreless innings with solid defense behind him to get the Win. Taylor Schmitt got his 1st Save of the year closing down the Cougar 7th. The Vikings got a pair of doubles from Sam Szpak, a double from Josh Seefeld and a 2-run HR from Curtis Bafus in the Viking victory.
JV Takes Ballard Ballard came to Valhalla for a JV contest this afternoon and the Viks found themselves down 3-1 at one point. But the Viking bats responded and the black & gold finished the game in 5 with a 13-3 victory. Sam Szpak and Willie Augustavo each had a pair of base hits. Dustin Bradshaw and Josh Seefeld each knocked in runs with base hits, Curt Bafus added an RBI double and the team thief Josh Williams stole 3 bases in as many attempts and scoring 3 runs for Inglemoor. Taylor Schmitt & Augustavo pitched for the Viks who prepare for Sammamish on Saturday.
JV Beats Woodinville - Moves to 4-0 Woodinville-week throughout the program saw both schools JV matched up on Tuesday afternoon at Inglemoor. The Vikings were solid once again to take the game 9-4. Brandon Edwards turned in a pair of defensive gems including a diving backhanded snag at 2nd base. Tyler Beahan continued to stay on a tear with a double & triple and the big blow came from Perry Pipkin who hit a 3-run bomb to left center to seal the Viking victory. Marty Rogstad earned the Win for the Viks. s
JV Takes T-Birds Shorewood JV visited Inglemoor Saturday and met with solid pithcing by Viking arms. Willie Augustavo, Curt Bafus & Tyler Beahan threw well allowing just 1 earned run on the day. The Viking offense was again solid with Beahan continuing to hit at a .500 clip. Cole Watkins big 2 RBI double was the back breaker. The Viks move to 3-0
JV Beats Juanita Sophomore Cole Mille threw a solid 4 innings off the bump for Inglemoor who scored a 10-spot vs Juanita pitching enroute to a 10-2 Viking victory. Curt Bafus and Willie Augustavo had multiple hits for the Viks who move to 2-0 on 2011.
JV Explodes vs Odea Inglemoor opened the JV season with 16 runs in the 1st inning - 12 before an out was recorded. The Viks had 12 hits in the 1st inning including a bases clearing double by Curtis Bafus, a pair of base hits by Tyler Beahan and a 2B by Taylor Schmitt. Ryan Caylor, Marty Rogstad, John Larson & Travis Klimper all saw their 1st action on the hill in the win. The final was Inglemoor 19-7 over Odea.
