WOW ! There were two teams competing for their season. In this winner-plays-on and the loser goes home game against Woodinville & Inglemoor it was full of tension, drama, & conflict. There were high & lows on both sides, often in the same inning. There were 10 pitchers used and nearly every Viking played in the 3 hour battle. It was definitely the most exciting game of the Inglemoor season - a season that will continue this Thursday due to resiliency & 7th inning heroics in a 9-8 comeback victory. Inglemoor opened with 4 runs in the top of the 1st inning. Singles by Connor Savage, Blake Wilson & Brandon Edwards and 4 walks gave the Viks the early lead. However, it wouldn't hold long as Woodinville responded with 3 of their own in the bottom of the frame. An imaginary strike zone plagued both starting pitchers and both saw an early exit from the game before an out was recorded by either defense.

Eric Rogers was given the call in the 7th and, as they say, " he was as cool as the other side of the pillow". Rogers delivered for Inglemoor. A fly ball to left, a grounder to SS and then a punch out to end the game gave the Viking senior his 1st Save of the year and his team the victory. Inglemoor squares off with Redmond once again on Thursday 4 PM at Woodinville HS for 3rd place and a shot at State.
