Dickerson's Grand Slam Seals the Deal

At Lower Woodland today Roosevelt played host to Inglemoor and it was all Vikings. Inglemoor scored two in the 1st when Mitchell Gunsolus drove in Marc Dickerson with a single. Gonzo was then plated by big Ethan Yeo who spanked a ball to right. Soph Blake Wilson got his first of two hits to lead off the 2nd and scored on Conor Savage's ball up the middle. In the 3rd the Vikings scored 7 times on RBI's from Scott Meyers, Craig Jacobson and Wilson.  The big blow though came off the bat of Viking Centerfielder Marc Dickerson who drove a bases loaded pitch deep over the wall in left center for a Grand Slam. Inglemoor notched 2 more in the 4th on a Garrett Vandiver double and another Dickerson single.  Inglemoor starting pitcher Emmett Maki allowed just 1 run on 3 hits before turning the ball over to senior Connor Eggerman who closed out the Roughriders.  The win keeps the Vikings atop the Crown division at 4-0 in KingCo play.
