Viks Battle for W over Falcons

Yeo & Dickerson Lead Charge

Woodinville visited Valhalla this afternoon in a make up of Monday's rain out game and scored first. But the vikings responded with 3 in the bottom of the frame led by Marc Dickerson's scorching triple. Ethan Yeo promptly singled to score Dickerson. Peter Meuisi finished the scoring with a clutch 2 out single two knock in Mitchell Gunsolus and Yeo. Meuisi also scored the eventual winning run in the 4th after doubling and coming to the dish on a Falcon miscue in the middle. Starting pitcher Obidiah Taylor was put into emergency service on this one and battled hard for 5 innings with a little help from his friends. Centerfielder Marc Dickerson showed why he is arguably the best Centerfielder in KingCo snagging two would-be doubles that prevented Falcon runs and Catcher Ethan Yeo pitched in by throwing out 3 base thieves on the day.  With a 1 run lead the Viks turned to Dustin Doucette to close out the Falcons. After a lead off walk 'Duece' retired Woodinville in order for the Save and secured a big victory for Inglemoor.
